This journey…

Five years ago, I stepped majorly out of my comfort zone and began my solo ministry. I prayed a simple little prayer, “God, create an audience of folks who’ll go with me on this journey”. I’m seeing the answer to that prayer everywhere we go. The feeling is indescribable now as I go back to places I’ve been and see the faces in the audience singing along to songs that God has blessed me to write. Wow! God has and is taking me and my little family to places we never dreamed possible. At His prompting, I took a huge step of faith out into the scary unknown. As I walk this road, I see little clues of where He has gone before me and made a way where there was none. A life of faith surely is an exciting life.
Thank YOU for coming along with me.

Divine protection…

This morning, I had a strong sense to pray earnestly and specifically for my wife and girls’ protection for today…now I know why.  Christina just got home and told me that they had just narrowly missed a very serious accident.  She said that as she was driving down a road close to our home, they met a car that suddenly made a left turn in front of them.  By all indications, a collision was about to take place and they were bracing for impact.  But, instead of colliding into the side of the other car, she said it was as if our car was being held back and suspended in time by an invisible force…an invisible hand.  As the other vehicle turned and was out of the way, our car was released as if nothing had even happened.

That was God watching over my family.  Friends, don’t forget to pray daily for your loved ones.

A question from my daughter…

A too cute question from Chanler, (my adorable 10 yr old):
“Daddy, have you ever noticed that the guys on DUCK DYNASTY all have beards?”

“SONG OF A LIFETIME” songs…

Today,  I’m in “SONG OF A LIFETIME” mode, (which starts in about a week). Listening, learning & writing charts to about 30 songs. (I might have a little church while listening to these songs of Gerald Crabb, Mark Bishop & Phil Cross!).

Pink guitar…

Cheyenne (4) just put this my hand and said, “I want to buy guitar…a pink one”. Now the search is on for a pink guitar so she can “buy” one. (She pretty much rocks). BM9976aCYAAQKwJ
